Currently the Project has just three part time members of staff. As well as providing immediate personal support, they work with different agencies to find the best solutions for our guests.
Nick Roberts: Project Manager
My background is in the Construction Industry, where I worked for over 10 years. Unfortunately I had a problem with addiction, but sought help. Following rehab and recovery I wanted to find a purpose to my life again. I started to work as a volunteer at the Windsor Homeless Project, and eventually became an official part of the team. It is great to be doing a job I really love, and offering other people support, the type that helped me on the road to recovery. You can read more of Nick’s story here.
Liv Dixon: Assistant Project Manager
I started my career in the energy industry, but after a few years in the corporate world, I realised that it wasn’t for me, and that I needed a job where I could feel proud of the work that I was doing. As a Windsor local, I’m delighted to be here at the Homeless Project, working with and for members of my local community. My favourite part of the job is talking with our guests, and learning their stories.
Jake Bullet: Safeguarding Officer
The project relies heavily on the time and energy given by a team of generous volunteers. It could not run without their support. There is a great group of volunteers – here are some of the Monday crew
