What brought you to WHP? ​

A friend recommended it as a great place to volunteer!

 

What do you find most rewarding about volunteering for WHP? 

I like the community atmosphere in the centre. I enjoy brightening up the clients’ days by bringing them a hot meal and providing them with essentials. I also like working with them, for example. helping them access online services or supporting them by writing a letter. It’s a rewarding way to spend a few hours.

 

The other volunteers were incredibly warm and welcoming when I started.
